I had been searching for a backpack to take on motorcycle rides for a long time.
The trouble was finding a bag that would store my camera gear safely and had additional space for on the go items like tools, snacks, etc. My search came to an end when I partnered with WANDRD to test out their 31L PRVKE backpack.
The Specs
WANDRD PRVKE 31L in black
31 Liter 19"H X 12.5"W X 7.5"D
31 Liter to 36 Liter roll-top fully extended
1.5 kg (3.4 lbs)
Weatherproof materials
Storage and Organization
The PRVKE bag comes in a few different bundles. I got the photography bundle which includes a camera cube, waist/accessory straps and rainfly. The camera cube is a must. It helps organize and protect your gear, like cameras and lenses, inside your bag. You can change the layout according to your liking thanks to the customizable dividers. If photography is your thing make sure to select a bundle with the camera cube. The roll-top area is where I usually store lighter items because it sits on top and I don’t want extra weight on the photo gear.
On a typical ride I might have a Sony A7iii camera body, a Sony FE 85mm F1.8 lens, a Sony ZEISS FE 35mm F2.8 lens, JOBY GorillaPod tripod and some accessories, which is no problem for this bag. As a test, I added in a drone and a laptop and it handled the load just fine. It’s a whole lot heavier, but it gets the job done.

The Quick Draw Side Access
One of the best features is the quick draw side access, which allows access to your camera without the need to take off the bag. When I’m out shooting on a motorcycle ride, I don’t want to take off my backpack and unzip it for the camera. It should be a painless process in order for me to get the shot as soon as possible. The side access zipper makes it much easier.
The Build
Overall the bag is rugged on the exterior and holds its shape. I’ve tossed it around a bit and it’s been on many rides with zero issues. On the interior it’s soft and padded to protect fragile items like a camera and a laptop.
The PRVKE bag is made of weatherproof material so if you happen to get stuck in the rain you don’t have to worry so much about your expensive gear. I haven’t been able to put it to the test, but knowing there’s protection makes me feel much better.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, I have to say the backpack has been awesome! It checks many of the boxes. It’s comfortable, protects your gear, and looks great with a minimal sleek design. If you’re looking for an upgrade, or need a bag, I recommend checking out the WANDRD lineup and the PRVKE backpack.
