The original bob-jobs were barebones and minimal. Builders tossed excess parts, modified the frame and shortened the fenders for that classic ‘bobbed’ look.
Resulting in a lighter, lower and shorter machine. They were often built with recycled or second hand parts. That’s exactly how we built our vintage custom Triumph bobber.
The bike has a 750 5 speed engine that sits in a 1969 frame with a custom hard tail. We added Triumph disc brakes in the front and rear for stopping power. We painted a slimline tank with a factory style, but with a rebellious twist. The seat is an original Bates Solo Saddle from the 1960’s with two springs for comfort.
Love it or hate it one thing is for sure, this bike rips!
