This is our 1965 Triumph Thunderbird, known as Triumph’s touring bike of the day.
The bikes popularity was stronger in England than in the states. The US audience preferred the Bonneville or the TR6 as they were sportier motorcycles.
It has low miles and original factory paint. We’ve only performed maintenance on the top end and replaced the tires. It’s a pleasure to ride and runs perfectly on its AMAL Monobloc carb. Being a touring motorcycle, it has a different gear ratio for sustained highway cruising and a more comfortable seat compared to other models. Even pleasant for two riders!
